Role Overview
- Mechanical design of LitePoint's products encompasses sheet metal fabrication, machined parts, plastic molding, and alignment fixtures.
- Involves detailed creation of parts and assemblies, collaborating closely with hardware engineers to address mechanical requirements such as RF shielding, enclosures, and thermal management.
- Includes designing for production (DFM, DFA)
- Coordinating with suppliers as necessary.
- Supporting the documentation structure and revision control of our released products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks modeling tools.
- Understands basic tolerance analysis.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Preferred qualification: 1-2 years of experience with Electronic product industry.
- Experience with PDM Enterprise or similar source control system.
- Knowledge of ANSI drafting standards and GD&T.
