Provides expert-level project management and leadership for Project Management’s largest and most complex initiatives.
Establishes unit cost and monitors progress/accomplishment.
Identifies and implements non-traditional processes to implement the project that reduces cost and/or schedule.
Communicate regularly with PG&E Officers, managers, critical project partners and high-level public sector contacts.
Mentors and provides guidance to less tenured project managers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or its equivalent in education and experience
13 years of PG&E (14 years outside) experience in project management, project controls, engineering, and/or construction
Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Electrical Engineering Degree for the Substation projects and Civil Engineering for Transmission line projects
Knowledge of and experience with electric substations, and transmission line projects
Fluent in the use of Project Management tools and current company tools, such as SAP Financials and Work Management modules and Microsoft Project Scheduling Software.
