About this role
Role Overview
Provide occupational safety consultancy and support in accordance with Section 6 of the German Occupational Safety and Health Act (Arbeitsschutzgesetz)
As Management Representative (m/f/d), independently handle topics related to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) with a focus on occupational safety
Actively contribute to the continuous development of the CRONIMET Group’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
Support colleagues at the central site in Karlsruhe and at individual branches on occupational safety matters as a qualified Occupational Safety Specialist
Organize and conduct regular ASA (Occupational Safety Committee) meetings and prepare instructions and occupational safety concepts
Plan, conduct and organize internal audits in the above-mentioned subject areas and accompany external certification-body audits at the German CRONIMET companies
Actively support the team in the introduction and further development of management systems within the CRONIMET Holding Group
Independently organize and carry out safety and workplace inspections
Reporting and cooperation with authorities and statutory accident insurance institutions (Berufsgenossenschaften) are also part of your duties
Pass on specialist knowledge through briefings/training and contribute to various process and organizational projects
Requirements
Completed degree in engineering (e.g., Safety Engineering, Safety Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, or comparable technical fields)
At least one relevant completed vocational qualification (e.g., technician or master craftsman) combined with an additional qualification in occupational safety
Relevant professional experience in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and, if applicable, in Quality Management and Environmental Management
Ideally qualified as an Internal Auditor
Additional qualifications such as Waste Management Officer or Emissions Control Officer are welcome; basic knowledge of waste and environmental law is also desirable
Proficient in MS Office; experience with Document Management Systems (DMS) is desirable
Good to very good English skills; knowledge of further foreign languages is an advantage but not required
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, a structured, responsible and quality-conscious work style, a team-oriented approach, and flexibility
Willingness to travel within Germany (approx. 20% travel) and, in very rare cases, within the EU
