About this role
Role Overview
- Act as lead technical presales expert in North America for ALM and related topics in PTC’s ALM HUB
- Support our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) & Product line Engineering (PLE) solutions
- Develop & present technical presentations and customized demonstrations of PTC Codebeamer and Pure Variants
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, CSM, Product Management, R&D, and Support
- Plan, manage and deliver POC’s (proof of concepts) and technical workshops
- Act as a technical project manager for customer projects
- Suggest potential solutions and/or alternatives to customer and partner challenges
- Support the sales team in qualifying potential opportunities with current customers, partners or prospects
- Develop technical responses for customer requests for information (RFI, RFP etc.)
- Stay current on industry trends in systems engineering, DevOps, and compliance
Requirements
- 5+ years in presales, professional services or solution delivery within enterprise software
- 3+ years in a senior engineering / consultant role with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English
- Proven success in supporting / building / operating implementations in regulated industries
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Experience with systems engineering, variant management, and compliance-driven development
- Background in automotive, aerospace, or medical device software environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps toolchains
- Strong skills in at least one programming language Java (J2EE), C++, Javascript, Python etc.
- Experience with relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Experience in integrating tools using Rest API’s
