Role Overview
- Solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources
- Provide insight to decision-makers
- Support market and corporate leaders with data-driven insights regarding provider contracts
- Explore, analyze, and present insights from complex datasets
- Work with Humana corporate, market, and network leadership to understand business strategy and data analysis needs
- Implement solutions and technologies to meet business needs
- Contribute to cross-functional data analysis or reporting initiatives to deliver insights and recommend actions
- Serve as the data and visualization subject matter expert
- Provide mentoring to teammates to promote best practices
- Build optimized, scalable, and well-documented analytical processes to mine, integrate, summarize, and analyze data
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing SQL and/or SAS
- Minimum 2 years of Power BI and/or other data visualization platforms
- Experience working with technology solutions in low-code application technology like Microsoft Power Apps/Power Automate
- Experience creating analytics solutions within the healthcare sector
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and summarize complex data to create accurate and meaningful insights to support senior leadership decision making
- Experience consulting with users at all levels of familiarity with modern BI tools to design and implement the appropriate solution
- Proficiency in verbal/written communication to senior and executive leadership
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements between business users and technical development teams
