Inpatient/Acute Care Occupational Therapist

Role Overview

• Evaluates and treats patients who have difficulty performing daily tasks due to physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial conditions
• Provides coordinated and comprehensive patient care
• Evaluates patient needs and develops and implements treatment programs
• Documents all treatments according to department policies
• Participates in education and training of staff, students, patients, and family members

Requirements

• Current or temporary occupational therapist licensure in the applicable state
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
• One (1) year of occupational therapist experience preferred
