Role Overview
- Perform invoice entry with accurate coding.
- Process accounts payable transactions.
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare weekly itemized income and expense snapshot reports.
- Support month-end close procedures.
- Draft Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets by concept.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain audit-ready financial documentation and records.
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong understanding of U.S. accounting fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Desktop or Online).
- Experience supporting multi-entity businesses.
- Comfortable working in cloud-based systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new accounting platforms.
- Proactive communication and timely issue escalation.
- High attention to detail with minimal rework required.
- Restaurant or hospitality accounting experience (nice to have).
- Experience with Restaurant365 software (nice to have).
- Experience in high-volume environments with weekly reporting cadence (nice to have).
- Exposure to forecasting support and trend analysis (nice to have).
