Role Overview
- Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
- Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
- Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts
- Order replacement parts and services efficiently
- Technician may work in areas with temperature and/or humidity extremes
Requirements
- years of previous experience as a technician
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness
- Experience using low and high voltage load banks for testing and repair of generator sets
- Ability to perform electrical and mechanical repairs
- Experience in startup and commissioning on large genset units with automatic transfer switches
