Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines that efficiently collect, transform, and store data from various sources
Create and manage data management systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards
Implement processes to validate and clean data, ensuring its accuracy and reliability for analysis
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide the necessary infrastructure and tools
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance performance and efficiency in data access and analysis

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and defense technology
Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations and reports

Active Secret security clearance
Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Masters Degree preferred)
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, Go or Scala, and experience with SQL for database management
Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges and improve data processes
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with just the right amount of guidance
