Role Overview
- Proofread, edit, and correct subtitles for podcasts, blogs, and marketing videos to ensure flawless grammar, spelling, and readability.
- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and formatting across all content.
- Upload and manage video content on YouTube, including metadata optimization (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails).
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to align subtitles with brand messaging and storytelling.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices for subtitled content.
- Monitor and update published content to reflect ongoing improvements in accuracy and audience engagement.
Requirements
- Exceptional command of the English language, with advanced proofreading and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct linguistic, stylistic, and formatting errors.
- Experience working with subtitles, closed captions, or transcription tools.
- Familiarity with YouTube content management, including SEO optimization for video uploads.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with creative teams.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
