About this role
Role Overview
Explore epigenetic biomarkers of organ ageing, proteins and disease.
Build epigenetic biomarkers for organ age estimates and proteins using longitudinal data.
Test biomarkers in a subset of volunteers and determine correlations across biosamples.
Apply biomarkers to blood-based and saliva-based DNA methylation data.
Build pipelines to replicate findings through international consortia projects.
Develop and apply a novel multivariate GWA framework for protein and DNAm relations.
Use bivariate associations to build graph models that identify age-specific causal pathways.
Requirements
PhD in molecular/epigenetic epidemiology.
Outstanding track record of first author publications.
Ability to mentor students/postdocs and to design and manage research projects.
Excellent understanding of genetic/epigenetic epidemiology.
Strong statistical analysis skills.
