Role Overview
- Explore epigenetic biomarkers of organ ageing, proteins and disease.
- Build epigenetic biomarkers for organ age estimates and proteins using longitudinal data.
- Test biomarkers in a subset of volunteers and determine correlations across biosamples.
- Apply biomarkers to blood-based and saliva-based DNA methylation data.
- Build pipelines to replicate findings through international consortia projects.
- Develop and apply a novel multivariate GWA framework for protein and DNAm relations.
- Use bivariate associations to build graph models that identify age-specific causal pathways.
Requirements
- PhD in molecular/epigenetic epidemiology.
- Outstanding track record of first author publications.
- Ability to mentor students/postdocs and to design and manage research projects.
- Excellent understanding of genetic/epigenetic epidemiology.
- Strong statistical analysis skills.
