Conduct technical surveys and monitor construction sites.
Contribute to the preparation, analysis and review of technical studies and expert reports.
Design and produce drawings and specifications for building mechanical systems (ventilation systems, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, utilities and miscellaneous networks (compressed air, steam, potable water, non-potable water, hot glycol, chilled glycol, etc.)) in compliance with the Building Code, applicable standards and project guidelines.
Participate in the integration of technical data into digital models (BIM) and ensure interdisciplinary consistency.
Ensure deliverables, schedules and the quality of produced plans and technical documents are met.
Participate in construction cost estimates and contribute to budget development.
Attend project kickoff and coordination meetings.
Ensure engineering work execution complies with EXP’s quality standards, applicable norms and contractual documents.
Keep up to date with products, standards, methods and technologies.
Perform any other duties related to the position.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in building engineering, mechanical engineering or other equivalent training.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in building mechanical engineering, specifically in the consulting engineering sector.
Licensed member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Proficiency with Revit.
Knowledge of applicable building codes and standards.
Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
