Role Overview
- Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Implement and optimize microservices in Node.js following established architectural patterns
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of scalable backend solutions
- Apply security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data validation
- Work with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
- Integrate external systems via APIs and webhooks
- Actively participate in code reviews, contributing to software quality
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Product, Frontend, QA, DevOps) in an agile environment
- Implement automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
- Monitor application performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Contribute to technical documentation and team knowledge sharing
- Participate in deployment and monitoring processes for production environments
Requirements
- 1–3 years of backend development experience
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS
- Experience with NoSQL or relational databases
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Experience with automated testing (Jest, Mocha, or similar)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration patterns
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
