Role Overview
- Lead and develop a team responsible for external counsel engagement
- Create high performance, inclusive teams with a focus on integrity and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement innovative spend and relationship management frameworks for external counsel
- Support negotiation of pricing and alternative models
- Oversee external legal spend management and generate insights
Requirements
- Extensive experience in tendering and pricing legal work including RFPs
- Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative working style
- Leadership experience in managing high-performing teams
- Specific US-focused experience in disputes highly desirable
- Demonstrated innovation mentality and record of challenging the status quo
- Strong experience with legal spend processes and platforms
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
