Lead the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Oversee project accounting activities. Work with sales team, utilizing Sales Force, to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project costs, revenues, and profitability. Ensure compliance with ASC-606 matching principle.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business objectives.
Assist in the conversion to Microsoft Business Central ERP system, ensuring a smooth transition and integration with existing financial processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 year in project accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Power BI), Microsoft Business Central, and advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
