Implement complex software components based on domain UML models
Close collaboration with subject-matter experts to ensure domain correctness and traceability
Development of dialog components in the payments domain (SEPA)
Implementation of performance-critical and transaction-safe backend logic
Further development and integration of SOAP web services and file interfaces
Integration of the application into an existing dialog and system architecture
Execution of comprehensive quality assurance measures (unit, integration, performance and load tests)
Analysis and resolution of defects during pilot phases
Coaching and supporting developers on architecture and implementation issues
Participation in architecture decisions and multi-tier design

Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
Several years of experience in Java enterprise development (Java EE / Jakarta EE)
Strong knowledge of multi-tier architectures, persistence layers (e.g., EJB persistence providers) and relational database systems (especially Oracle)
Good experience developing with Eclipse, Maven, Git and TestNG (or comparable test frameworks)
Experience developing and integrating SOAP web services
Excellent skills in UML modeling
Experience with complex, performance-critical and transaction-safe software
Knowledge of resource management for interactive (dialog) and batch operations
Experience conducting unit, integration, performance and load tests
Experience in public sector projects or at an IT service provider is an advantage
Very good German language skills, spoken and written (minimum B2)
