About this role
Role Overview
Prepare information packages for earnings releases and contribute to drafting the accounting sections of the Reference Form, collaborating with areas such as Investor Relations;
Serve as the focal point for the Company’s multidisciplinary projects related to M&A, commercial matters, restructurings, new accounting standards, and other initiatives;
Provide technical accounting support to other business areas across various operations;
Provide technical accounting support for the implementation project of IFRS S1 and S2;
Prepare management analyses and consolidate information for corporate reporting;
Be responsible for responding to inquiries and organizing documentation requested by auditors;
Prepare variance analyses for results and balance sheet movements, explaining significant changes and preparing supporting materials for management;
Identify and enable actions for continuous improvement of the accounting area and its interfaces with other departments;
Review quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and with CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) regulations applicable to a publicly traded company.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Preferred: Postgraduate degree or MBA in Controllership/Finance
Strong, proven experience in Controllership/Accounting/Audit
Advanced English
Knowledge of the energy sector
