Lead the modernisation of the Windows application, including migration from UWP to WinUI 3
Drive improvements to the overall look, feel, and usability of the application
Develop new features end to end, fetching data from APIs and presenting it in clean, intuitive UI
Integrate with our proprietary authentication system and ensure robust, secure authentication flows
Champion security best practices across the application, in line with the high standards required by our industry
Maintain and improve existing application functionality
Collaborate with the wider engineering team, Product, and Design to shape the roadmap
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
Support testing, debugging, and performance optimisation

Senior level experience in Windows application development. We would also consider an experienced mid level developer with a strong track record
Strong UI and UX sensibility. You care about how software looks and feels, not just how it works
Solid UWP development experience, ideally with exposure to WinUI 3 or experience migrating applications between Windows UI frameworks
Proven experience building applications that consume REST APIs and present data in well designed interfaces
Strong understanding of authentication and security principles, with experience integrating secure authentication systems
A security first mindset, comfortable working in an environment where data sensitivity and industry standards are paramount

Nice to have

Direct experience with WinUI 3 or migrating a production application from UWP to WinUI 3
Experience with MAUI or Xamarin
Experience within governance, financial services, or other regulated industries
Experience building applications used by senior or executive audiences
