You optimize existing products and production processes in the field of synthetic quartz glass.
You transfer new products and processes from development into series production.
You ensure process quality and drive its continuous improvement, including the analysis and tracking of quality-relevant data.
You independently lead and manage complex technological tasks and projects.
You challenge the status quo and develop new technological solutions and innovative process approaches.
You analyze and evaluate the impact of raw materials and operating supplies on process stability, product quality and efficiency.
You participate in interdisciplinary teams to continuously improve technology, safety and efficiency.
Requirements
A completed degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, physics, chemistry or a comparable technical/scientific field
Experience in a production environment or in process development; ideally proven project management experience in this area
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical relationships, analyze them in a structured way and independently derive solutions
Experience in statistical data analysis and confident handling of technical data and analytical methods
High reliability and sense of responsibility to ensure continuity in a technologically central area
Strong initiative, curiosity and willingness to question existing processes and explore new approaches
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
Confident German and English language skills, both written and spoken
