Role Overview
- Editing talking-head and screen-recorded footage into engaging tutorials
- Cutting mistakes and unnecessary sections
- Synchronizing camera footage with screen recordings
- Adding animations, visual effects, and on-screen elements
- Using AI tools to enhance visuals and storytelling
- Maintaining consistent pacing and structure across videos
- Uploading completed videos to Frame.io for review
- Implementing feedback and revisions when required
- Managing time effectively to meet daily and weekly deadlines
- Producing 4–5 high-quality videos per week
Requirements
- Proven experience as a YouTube video editor
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement
- Experience editing tutorial and explainer-style content
- Proficiency in at least one professional editing tool:
- Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, or similar
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong time management and reliability
- Ability to complete a full 8–12 minute video within 8–9 hours
- Availability for full-time work
- Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience creating custom animations and VFX
- Familiarity with AI-based editing and animation tools
- Experience using:
- Frame.io
- Remotion
- Higgsfield Vibe Motion
- Interest in AI, automation, and tech-related content
