Carry out the onboarding and hiring process for new Redbelt Security employees, including documentation, records, personnel files and enrollment in benefit plans.
Conduct onboarding for new hires covering all HR-related rules and policies, presenting step-by-step instructions, dates, benefits and their values, tools and other necessary aspects to ensure the employee understands Redbelt Security's HR rules and policies and chooses the benefit that best meets their needs within the specified deadlines.
Send the updated monthly employee roster to brokers and benefits providers to ensure timely receipt of benefits.
Review timekeeping entries in Redbelt Security’s timekeeping system, checking for adjustments made by employees to clock-ins, clock-outs and approved absences to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Respond to employee requests related to payroll information, time records, benefits and other employment-related matters.
Add or modify payroll and timekeeping records in cases of leaves of absence (illness, work accident, maternity, marriage, etc.), changes in position or salary, departmental transfers, changes in cost center, benefit plan enrollments, overtime, changes or updates to employees’ addresses and other record updates.
Reconcile all payroll data, including social charges, accrued vacation included in payroll, employee additions and removals, leaves of absence and other variables; identify discrepancies and coordinate with outsourced accounting for corrections to ensure accurate payroll closure and bank file generation.
Verify calculations of labor-related charges and payment guides to ensure compliance with deadlines and legal requirements.
Process employee terminations, scheduling meetings and presenting calculations, obtaining signatures for payment and proper recordkeeping.
Propose improvements to processes and systems used by the Personnel Department, suggesting partnerships with vendors, automating processes, speeding up workflows and ensuring data security.
Perform related HR administrative tasks as requested, collecting data, consolidating information, generating reports and providing support for reconciliations or investigations as needed to help meet business demands.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting or related fields.
Experience with personnel administration processes and operations (payroll, benefits, timekeeping, documentation).
Knowledge of labor and social security laws.
Understanding of market benefit policies, functionalities and eligibility criteria.
