Respiratory Therapist II – Part Time

Role Overview

• Provide family-centered, age appropriate clinical cardio pulmonary care
• Utilize assessment findings to establish patient and family needs in collaboration with the health care team
• Communicate findings verbally and in writing
• Take leadership roles as assigned
• Act as a clinical resource to other departments
• Participate in hospital/departmental committees, special projects and research

Requirements

• Associate degree and Respiratory Therapy RT License in state of practice
• National Registration by National Board for Respiratory Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• 2 years in ICU setting preferred, Pediatric/Adult RT intensive care
