Shape the MES product vision / roadmap and steer the squad in delivering products / platforms features / work oriented around business impact
Shape and prioritize MES backlog, utilizing business expertise and understanding of customer needs, translating requirements into user stories & acceptance criteria
Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing stories and features, optimizing cost and improving delivery efficiency
Act as the “voice of the customer” within the squad to ensure the squad “builds the right thing”
Plan resourcing for the squad (i.e. new role, change in role), create ASOE requests, interview, select and onboard members to join the squad
Accountable for shaping and hitting squad OKRs
Work closely with MES Product/Platform Manager to establish the products’ business value and support messaging, comms and customer outreach as necessary
Ensure the products / features / work meets relevant security, privacy & compliance standards
Drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle
Drive engagement with third parties to support delivery of squad objectives
Drive selection of solution options, work with the Lead Engineer to assess tech elements of the solution prior to user testing
Facilitate release planning, sprint planning and demos with stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
10+ years of IT product requirements management, design, and solution deployment of major IT capabilities (like ERP / Manufacturing / Shop Floor systems) across multiple sites.
Experience with ERP (such as SAP / JDE) and MES (such as Camstar, Siemens OpCenter, Critical Manufacturing)
Experience in program / project execution utilizing Agile / JIRA / rRDM methodology
MES Project delivery experience
Product management certification
Familiarity with GxP and SOX requirements and regulations.
