Support the implementation and achievement of J&J goals and objectives with a multinational approach in an international team
Lead special projects across the team, including Category Strategy development and execution
Support procurement activities across a variety of categories
Manage supplier relationships and identifying supplier innovation opportunities
Conduct competitive sourcing events, process improvement initiatives, and spending analyses
Track key performance indicators and supporting functional initiatives
Apply data-driven insights to inform sourcing decisions and supplier evaluations
Explore and recommend innovative digital tools to enhance procurement processes and supplier collaboration
Requirements
Actively enrolled in an accredited university for the duration of the co-op assignment, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Completion of undergraduate freshman year is required
Pursuing a degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field
Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analytics tools and techniques
Technological curiosity and a proactive approach to exploring digital solutions in procurement
Ability to work in a matrixed environment with rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlines
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while delivering results
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization features
Must be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to team goals
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) and adhere to J&J’s Flex policy (minimum 3 days/week in office)
Local travel may be required; candidates must provide their own transportation
Must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1-B) now or in the future
