Study in advance the establishment to be visited and its segment (light vehicles, heavy vehicles, industry, gas stations, installers, auto-electric shops, locksmiths, among others);
Analyze the vehicle fleet circulating in your region;
Review Universal product catalogs;
Analyze purchase history in HotSales and records of lost sales;
Observe the main shelf items and counter movements at the establishment to be more assertive;
Prepare targeted proposals based on the customer’s consumption history and/or segment;
Schedule visits with customers in advance via WhatsApp or phone and record them in HotSales;
Use the visit schedule suggested by HotSales according to region, customer portfolio and assigned route, with the aim of prospecting customers and conducting in-person visits;
During visits, engage customers using appropriate sales techniques according to the customer profile, with the goal of closing deals;
Present and offer the company’s products, highlight differentiators, negotiate price, delivery lead times and other particularities to keep customers active and reactivate inactive accounts;
Advise customers on product selection and influence customers to close primary, complementary and alternative sales;
Provide customer support by supplying requested information: prices, payment terms, product technical specifications, delivery conditions and lead times, etc.;
Stay updated on product characteristics, processes, competitive advantages and commercial policy;
Issue orders by recording them in the system and monitor order fulfillment processes when necessary;
Direct customer complaints to the appropriate specialist areas when needed: sales support, complaints, technical assistance, special conditions, etc.;
Perform post-sale follow-up to ensure customer retention;
Be familiar with our portfolio, competitors and the market in which we operate;
Perform check-in and check-out for visits made;
Record working hours (clock in/clock out);
Use the PayTrack app to record daily mileage;
Respond to inquiries from various departments by phone and email;
Perform related duties as requested;
Map new business opportunities in your region;
Develop sales presentations with analytical business and performance data;
Act as an internal knowledge multiplier;
Promote and lead the implementation of innovations and continuous improvements in the sales process, aligned with market trends and customer needs;
Develop, in partnership with the marketing team, initiatives and alternatives to boost the product mix;
File documents for which you are responsible in the designated electronic and physical locations;
Execute activities in accordance with the objectives, values and quality standards of Universal Soluções Automotivas.
Requirements
High school diploma;
Experience in outside sales;
Experience selling to retail channels and B2B;
Negotiation skills;
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license (category B);
Availability to travel;
Experience in the auto parts sector is a plus.
