Support manufacturing in resolving process safety issues in polymerization, monomer production, extrusion and solids-handling areas
Support process hazard analysis (PHA) and risk management activities
Support the Management of Change (MOC) process for all plant changes
Promote technical process safety knowledge exchange across the site, assessing and encouraging implementation of improved practices and technical solutions
Actively participate in process safety (PS) communities and monitor best practices
Ensure compliance with rules, regulations and legislation concerning process safety and current safety technologies
Implement relevant updates to company guidelines and procedures and inform affected/relevant areas
Pragmatic implementation of Operational Excellence (OE) standards
Investigate process safety–related incidents
Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices in process safety
Participate in regular safety walks to ensure HSE standards are understood and followed
Member of the local NEZ team
Qualified person with specialized knowledge in explosion prevention and facility siting

Requirements
Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (Technical College/University)
Preferably 5–8 years of experience in process engineering, operations or maintenance (preferably with an instrumentation & electrical or process engineering background)
Knowledge of process safety, explosion prevention, handling of flammable liquids and combustible dusts, mechanical integrity and risk assessment
Good communication skills (fluent German, advanced English)
