Role Overview

• Provide strategic leadership for global polymer and catalyst process engineering
• Engage with polymer business key stakeholders
• Actively participate in polymer and catalyst technology networks
• Drive continuous improvement through the Value Enhancement Program
• Participate in capital long-range planning and project prioritization
• Sustain effective interfaces with manufacturing leadership
• Communicate career opportunities to larger engineering community

Requirements

• BS in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a petrochemical manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of industry best practices in polymer process operations and optimization
• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Supervision and multiple group coordination with excellent conflict resolution skills
• International management experience is a plus
• Mentoring skills to effectively transfer technical expertise to less experienced engineers and managers
