Senior Azure Systems – Platform Engineer

Role Overview

• Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure and hybrid enterprise environments
• Deploy, manage, and sustain Azure compute, storage, networking, and identity-integrated services
• Perform system monitoring, patching, upgrades, backups, and recovery activities for Azure-hosted and hybrid systems
• Package, configure, and deploy applications and system components to standardized environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, platform, and application-level issues
• Implement and maintain configuration management and change control processes
• Support incident response and problem management activities
• Collaborate with Information Assurance and cybersecurity personnel

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of systems administration, platform engineering, or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Proven hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure environments
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher
• DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT-II–compliant certification (e.g., Security+, SSCP, GSEC)
• Must have Top Secret Clearance
