Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team
Provide architectural and technical guidance to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability of the WMS
Oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring efficient planning, prioritization, and execution of engineering projects
Work closely with Product, Design, and Operations teams to align technical initiatives with business objectives
Enhance engineering processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to drive operational efficiency
Ensure high code quality and adherence to software development best practices through design reviews and technical mentorship
Contribute to the engineering strategy and roadmap, aligning it with Stord’s broader business goals

Proven experience (8+ years) in software engineering, with 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.
Strong background in development, preferably in Elixir/Phoenix or other functional programming languages.
Experience working on large-scale distributed systems or complex enterprise applications.
Ability to mentor, coach, and develop engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, system architecture, and DevOps principles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other teams.
