Senior Project Manager, TSOM – Temporary (up to 5 months)

Role Overview

• Report to the Delivery Director and manage the delivery of a significant package of rail infrastructure works within the Sydney Metro City and Southwest project
• Provide senior management, professional and technical leadership in the delivery of work in the rail corridor, rail station and precinct (including utilities) construction aspects
• Monitor activities to ensure that works are delivered to the required standards and in accordance with safe work methods and environmental practices
• Direct, manage and steer key relationships with Tier 1 contractors, Sydney Trains and other senior stakeholders within a Public-Private Partnership (PPP)

Requirements

• Proven project professional with a systems integration background in rail, aviation, or similar
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Highly organised
• Engineering tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale urban brownfield rail projects on time and on budget
