Play a pivotal role in providing technology operations project management leadership and delivery for the planning and implementation of the $568m Opal Next Generation (ONG) program.
Provide high-level professional guidance and coordination for technology operations projects within the ONG program.
Lead multi-functional technology operations teams to undertake and drive project scoping / planning, project management and operational processes for the technology transition from delivery to operations for ONG Solution deliverables.
Ensure compliance with operational requirements, working within a project management framework to deliver projects to best practice standards.
Direct the development of project schedules, resource plans, operational plans and processes, budgets to deliver outcomes that meet ONG strategic and operational needs.
Coordinate project approval, cost planning, commercial and procurement processes.
Oversee risk and issue management, reporting, and governance to ensure project risks, issues, dependencies and impediments are managed.
Requirements
Working at a senior or executive level in a complex organisation, delivering specialist and authoritative advice to executive leadership.
Exceptional project management skills and a sound understanding of technology operations, support and maintenance functions.
Leadership and management skills, including the ability to strategically lead, influence and motivate highly skilled direct and indirect technical staff to deliver desired outcomes.
Managing and delivering technology projects with complex supplier engagements (experience delivering transportation technologies and solutions well regarded).
Engaging with business and technical stakeholders across all levels and in balancing the competing needs and expectations of stakeholders within fast-paced and agile environments.
Building trust, influencing and effectively communicating on strategic and operational matters with senior stakeholders, vendors and team members at all levels applying a commercial and customer centric mindset.
