Operation, administration, and optimization of the existing network infrastructure into a modern next‑generation architecture.
Configuration of switches and firewalls using Cisco ISE and Palo Alto Panorama.
Establishment of a monitoring environment for effective fault analysis and troubleshooting support.
Development of the network architecture with regard to new protocol and application types.
Planning of new infrastructure components and creation and review of network and security concepts.

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, IT Security, or equivalent).
Practical experience in network administration with knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
Ability to work independently, responsible, and strong communication skills.
Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of network security, system hardening, and security concepts (e.g., handling alerts from XDR/IDS solutions).
Initial experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001).
Experience with automation (e.g., Python or Ansible).
