About this role
Role Overview
Lead, plan and execute Life Cycle Assessments for all Coats’ product groups
Develop and standardize LCA data collection templates
Coordinate with regional technical teams to collect site-level data
Perform data validation and quality checks
Maintain and update LCA databases and background datasets
Prepare and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Support the integration of LCA results into digital tools
Collaborate with material innovation teams
Generate and maintain LCA reports and environmental product profiles
Support the development of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
Contribute to Type I ecolabelling initiatives
Provide training and awareness sessions for site teams
Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline
3-6 years of experience in conducting LCAs in the textile or related industry
Familiarity with LCA standards & guidelines (e.g. ISO 14040/44)
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets
Familiarity with LCA methodologies, databases, and software tools such as SimaPro, GaBi, or OpenLCA
Excellent project management skills
