Present daily news content for WFOX TV and on digital/social media focusing on weather, breaking news, and impactful news
Demonstrate the ability to enterprise original stories with unique voices
Create breaking news content effectively and communicate to the newsroom as soon as a story is confirmed
Shoot and edit video, write scripts, and communicate live on-air
Work independently at high standards under deadline pressure
Collaborate with co-workers to generate story ideas daily

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Must be thoroughly professional in all aspects of journalism
Must be well read on current affairs and have a wide range of working knowledge and understanding of general interest subject
Exceptional news judgment and writing skills
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
A minimum of 2 years professional experience in local TV news is preferred
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University in Journalism or Communications preferred
