Role Overview
- Manages an assigned operational segment of Engineering by directing, developing, communicating, and implementing the company's direction and strategic goals
- Contributes to business development and marketing internally and externally
- Monitors and supports the pursuit of viable opportunities by supplying resources and training
- Identifies market trends and communicates best practices
- Optimizes results for customers and the company by establishing goals
- Responsible for study, design, specification and services of transportation systems, bridges, infrastructure, and other civil engineering works
- Supervises and leads a group of engineers
- Conducts performance management such as management and hiring of personnel
- Provides required training to maintain a proficient workforce
Requirements
- US Citizenship
- U.S. Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture from an ABET accredited college or university, or approved equivalent
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
- Ten years (5 of the 10 years in supervision) experience in engineering design, construction, maintenance, repair, operation of major real property facilities
- DoD installation-level working experience
- Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred)
