About this role
Role Overview
Design and maintain the Atlassian platform ecosystem for the delivery of customized solutions
Manage system configuration, database, and provide training and support to users as needed
Work closely with engineers, developers, administrators, and analysts on business-critical projects
Document and maintain architecture artifacts including system diagrams, data flow maps, and integration specifications
Assess architectural changes to accommodate business needs
Monitor and evaluate the impact of Atlassian platform updates and third-party integrations
Establish and enforce architectural standards and governance policies across the Atlassian ecosystem
Conduct regular architecture reviews to identify technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for optimization
Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards
Manage and administer Jira cloud instance
Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, boards, and permissions
Troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in software development, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
4+ years of relevant experience
Strong experience in Jira administration, with a focus on JIRA Cloud environment
Expertise in configuring and customizing Jira workflows, projects, custom fields, screens, and permissions
Extensive knowledge of Jira Service Management implementations and ITIL-based processes
Proficiency in Jira REST APIs and experience with scripting for automation and integrations
Demonstrated ability to integrate Jira with other enterprise applications (e.g., Slack, Salesforce, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum/Kanban boards in Jira
Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve Jira-related issues effectively
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and CI/CD pipelines integrations
Experience with Atlassian Access and organization-level administration
Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
Experience with version control systems and Infrastructure as Code practices
