Support Class Members virtually with information, resources, and Claim Form assistance in a trauma-informed and culturally safe manner.
Assist claimants in completing claim forms and connecting them with existing wellness, legal, and cultural support services.
Participate in training sessions, including e-courses, debriefings, and self-directed learning modules.
Perform work safely by following established health and safety protocols, training, and instructions.
Contribute to a positive safety culture by raising safety concerns and sharing knowledge about risks and solutions.
Requirements
Identifying as Indigenous is an asset.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
Ability to work professionally in an Indigenous language is an asset.
Strong knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, Microsoft tools, and other database platforms is an asset.
Strong knowledge and awareness of Indigenous culture, history, the impacts of intergenerational trauma, and an understanding of Indigenous governance structures.
Clear, respectful, and professional communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
Demonstrated ability to perform administrative work while respecting privacy and confidentiality.
Strong ability to follow established policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
