In day-to-day work you will independently prepare and develop detailed, meaningful analyses to support strategic objectives, maintaining continuous communication with the labels' operational managers.
Budget planning and ongoing forecasting are part of your responsibilities, as is monitoring monthly closings and interpreting the results.
You will strategically develop the controlling function with respect to analytics, process control and optimization, and perform business-focused evaluations of ad-hoc analyses.
You are responsible for providing targeted financial information and optimizing the financial analysis toolkit, guided by control metrics (KPIs), revenue, revenue mix, margin and EBITDA.
You prepare project calculations for artist deals and valuations of music rights, which serve as the economic basis for local management decisions and as the foundation for the international approval process.
You support ongoing negotiations with artists/labels in collaboration with the A&R and Legal teams, for example by assisting with offer structuring or due diligence tasks.
Requirements
You have completed a Bachelor's degree, ideally a Master's degree, with a focus in finance (Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering).
You have at least two years' experience in controlling.
You have solid expertise in budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning.
You can assess the economic attractiveness of projects/investments, business models or company divisions based on financial metrics.
You are highly proficient with common MS Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and can independently create Excel templates with complex model structures.
You are well acquainted with common accounting and reporting tools and ideally familiar with SAP (FI, CO, BW, BPC) or similar systems.
Ideally, you have experience with Power Automate and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
You possess strong communication and presentation skills in German (C2) and English (C1).
