Function in multiple security domains and serve as the Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO) for the site
Support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in maintaining and enhancing the security posture of the organization
Ensure compliance with all security policies, protocols, and regulations, particularly those outlined in 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
Administer and track requisite annual training, escort training, initial security clearance briefing, and security debriefing for all cleared employees
Manage security clearances and conduct security training for personnel
Operate independently to handle security issues in accordance with security policies, including 32 CFR (NISPOM)
Act as the primary focal for establishing and maintaining effective security education programs
Analyze and investigate security incidents and violations; prepare internal and external customer reports
Assist with COMSEC duties and responsibilities, including inventory, destruction, and vIPer user support
Create and/or maintain continuity books and procedures for multiple security functions
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior Industrial Security experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior Industrial Security experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior Industrial Security experience
Active US Secret Security Clearance
Previous AFSO experience is preferred
Experience using security management software and applications
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables
Experience with Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and National Industrial Security System (NISS) is strongly preferred
Proficient writing skills that include experience with program protection plans and CONOPs.
