Qualified Nurse – 1:1 Intensive Care

Role Overview

• 1:1 care of a patient with a high-level spinal cord injury
• Basic and treatment-related nursing care
• Monitoring of ventilator settings and vital signs
• Emergency management and patient monitoring
• Support and assistance with activities of daily living
• Communication with patients and their families

Requirements

• Completed three-year vocational training as a registered nurse / nursing specialist / geriatric nurse or equivalent (m/f/d)
• Empathy, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
• Enjoyment of working in a multiprofessional team
• Ability to work independently and conscientiously
• Desirable: basic course in out-of-hospital (home) ventilation or experience in intensive nursing care
