Own daily social media operations, content planning, and user engagement across: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, and the BandLab App Feed
Find and collaborate with creators, artists, producers, and influencers to source UGC
Manage user engagement by responding to comments
Track and report on performance across all major social platforms using native social media analytics and tools such as Meltwater, Airtable, Metricool & more
Work cross-functionally with creative teams to produce branded content for regular campaigns
Help ideate new ideas to support campaign goals
Stay up to date with what’s current on social media. Including trends, platform best practices, and fresh developments in social media marketing
Requirements
3-5+ years of social media management experience, ideally in music or tech
A portfolio and proven record running social media accounts with strong organic growth
Data-driven. You test, learn, iterate, and make decisions based on numbers
Deep personal passion for music creation (bonus if you use DAWs yourself)
Basic video editing skills (CapCut or similar) with an eye for social media editing styles
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple campaigns at the same time
Nice to haves
Copywriting: Experience writing copy for social media content, or giving good feedback to writers
Influencer marketing management: Experience sourcing, negotiating and delivering influencer content
Project management: Fluent in project management tools with a skill-set for planning campaigns with a large number of deliverables
Management experience: Experience managing interns/juniors to assist with scaling social media
