Serves as administrative secretary to the Associate Deputy Director
Works directly with the Associate Deputy Director and staff in establishing and maintaining weekly/monthly appointment schedules
Functions as part of the management team in planning and arranging details for training, meetings and special initiatives; attends staff and labor/management meeting
Researches and compiles needed information for special studies and reports needed by the Associate Deputy Director and management staff
Maintains and sets up a variety of informational, correspondence, and tickler files (confidential and non-confidential) for the Associate Deputy Director; maintains resource files, field audit files, personnel files, and timekeeping records
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Requirements
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of two years of secretarial or business college and two years of secretarial experience; or completion of high school and four years of secretarial experience
Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at 55 wpm
Condition of Employment Requires ability to pass a background check.
