Role Overview
- Take ownership over month end, statutory reporting across the group.
- Lead the end-to-end monthly accounting and close process, ensuring timely financial results.
- Ensure compliance with AASB reporting requirements.
- Partner with operational and commercial team to better understand business drivers and decision making.
- Manage compliance and external reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting.
Requirements
- CA or CPA qualification with a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience in senior accounting roles
- must have
- Comfortable working in a product, inventory or manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in month-end close, balance sheet management, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience working in large, complex organisations.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with MYOB, highly desirable.
- High level of attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with ability to manage priorities and deadlines with professional integrity.
- Strong ability to communication with non-finance teams.
