Lead complex, high-visibility ad hoc projects supporting Employer Underwriting priorities, including projects that impact strategic RFP readiness, underwriting process optimization, and organizational alignment.
Act as a primary liaison between Underwriting and key partners including Pricing, Networks, ANCS, Rebates, Proposals, Sales, Operations, and Implementation.
Own and maintain the Underwriting Capacity Planning Tool, including forecasting, enhancements, and reporting insights for leadership.
Monitor new client performance relative to underwriting assumptions; identify variances and support refinement of future assumptions.
Ensure full adherence to Underwriting Standards of Practice across the team, including pricing governance and procedural compliance.
Requirements
7+ years of relevant experience in underwriting, pricing, analytics, project management, or PBM operations.
Experience in the PBM or healthcare environment.
Experience working with or supporting underwriting or pricing functions.
Strong project management experience with the ability to manage cross-functional projects involving multiple timelines and stakeholders.
Advanced Excel capability, including modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly.
Proven ability to influence without direct authority and work effectively across multiple organizational levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving business needs.
Working knowledge of competitive intelligence, underwriting drivers, contract performance, or pricing strategy.
Experience developing documentation, executive summaries, or training materials.
Familiarity with underwriting governance, pricing compliance, or process audit routines.
Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred but not required).
