Role Overview
- Lead and scale high-performing engineering teams operating in competitive, delivery-driven environments
- Drive complex, multi-stream initiatives from strategy through execution with clear ownership and outcomes
- Actively manage performance, expectations, and delivery standards across teams
- Strengthen infrastructure scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Lead step-wise modernisation of platform, UI, APIs, and developer experience
- Establish strong delivery discipline, operational standards, and accountability
- Embed enterprise-grade security, privacy-by-design, and DevSecOps practices
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted coding, where they materially improve speed and quality
Requirements
- Deep experience in software engineering and infrastructure leadership
- Proven track record leading high-performance engineering teams
- Ability to thrive under pressure in high-expectation environments
- Competitive nature and desire to win
- Ability to manage performance and set clear standards
- Experience with modern delivery practices and tooling
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade security and privacy-by-design practices
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices
