Role Overview
- Explore and build tools to support our product engineers with GenAI-augmented developer experiences, in collaboration with product managers and internal AI community.
- Contribute to our internal development platform.
- Demonstrate support and understanding of our value of journalistic independence and a strong commitment to our mission to seek the truth and help people understand the world.
- Report to the Engineering Manager of the DevEx Platforms team
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience improving developer experience through workflows, documentation, and capabilities of the internal platform.
- Experience designing and building cloud native applications using Golang
- Hands-on experience building software using GenAI tools, like GitHub's Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code.
