Ensure excellent delivery of operational HR lifecycle activities across all countries where Voodoo operates, from onboarding to offboarding, including preparing required documentation, managing immigration compliance, and implementing processes.
Maintain compliance with internal policies and local legal requirements by managing relationships with relevant administrative and external stakeholders.
Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (BambooHR), ensuring accuracy and timely updates for any changes in employee status.
Support payroll data processing, including tracking bonuses, salary increases, and sick leave.
Oversee administration of employee benefits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to strengthening HR Operations by understanding what matters to our people and helping ensure the function performs at a high level, notably by providing first-line HR support via the ticketing system, resolving employee inquiries in a timely and accurate manner and escalating when necessary.
Requirements
1–5 years of experience in an HR role (apprenticeship or junior-level experience in HR operations or administration is a plus)
Full professional proficiency in French and English
Basic understanding of HR processes and eagerness to learn more about compliance, documentation, and payroll coordination
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
Problem-solving mindset: you go beyond identifying issues and focus on how to address them
Excellent communication skills across languages and cultures, with the ability to build trust-based relationships at all levels of the organization
Proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn and grow in a dynamic HR environment
Team player with a good sense of humor is a plus
Familiarity with payroll, benefits, immigration, and relocation processes is an advantage
