About this role
Role Overview
Provide engineering and technical analysis to underpin advocacy efforts on behalf of the Company’s telecommunications and spectrum policy issues before U.S. government agencies
Establish and maintain close contact with internal business partners, engineering and program leaders to understand and address their regulatory and policy requirements
Write concise internal reports, external regulatory filings, and presentations to internal and external executive level audiences
Work with all groups within the organization, being responsive to requests for support in a timely manner
Advocate on behalf of Boeing spectrum initiatives across a range of satellite, defense, commercial space and aviation programs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering
3 years of government relations experience with telecommunications or radio frequency spectrum regulatory and policy issues
3 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs and/or Issue Advocacy
Experience in a role that required strong technical, analytical, and writing skills
Willing to travel up to 20% of the time
