Develop understanding complex business rules and ensure those rules are correctly followed in design documents, specifications and development
Conduct code reviews for assigned applications and participate in code reviews for other applications in the product suite
Develop understanding of issues involved in producing releases of software components
Contribute suggestions and provide support to the other members of the team
Apply in-depth and broad technical knowledge to diverse technological areas
Design, prepare and execute unit tests
Quickly and effectively resolve issues reported by customers and QA testers
Collaborate with DMDC Enterprise teams
Perform in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities

5+ years of related experience
US Citizenship Required: Yes
Able to obtain a DOW Secret Clearance
DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Security+ CE)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical/scientific field OR equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
7+ experience in Java/JEE application development
Solid understanding of modern software design and development methodologies
Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology and practices, such as SCRUM and Kanban
Knowledge of software configuration management and release management using GIT and Maven
Solid understanding of testing tools and unit and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies
Solid knowledge of relational database concepts
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to apply consistent quality and security standards
