Conduct analysis of material availability in the short, medium and long term to meet the projected production pace using a pull-based scheduling system.
Schedule material receipts to maintain buffer/regulating inventories according to the needs of the materials supermarket by issuing purchase requisitions.
Monitor daily progress of planned material deliveries, defining and checking delivery deadlines, delays, quality deviations, and seeking solutions to meet material delivery schedules.
Calculate monthly projections for slow-moving items and shelf life, and make recommendations for depletion of materials with excess inventory.
Actively contribute to launch project cells with suggestions and recommendations aimed at reducing/eliminating material issues to enable on-time product launches.
Schedule and coordinate material release orders with Quality Assurance and the receiving process with the Warehouse.
Update material master records and codes used by the company.
